I've seen them on Al's bikes... and they look nice!

If they get scratched up, you can lightly sand them and then re-spray clear.

The double sided tape is NOT thick.

how close doe the guard stay to the tank?
also - is it the full width of the tank, or will i need to do some measuring beforhand?

It doesn't cover the entire rear section, just the aft-facing surface that would be hit by your belt buckle.

My memory isn't that good. I'd shoot Al an email and ask.

Have the Pegasus one that Buell offered back in 05 when I got it. Still on the bike and still works well.

already 3 years on my xb R,
love it,
where the Buell Pegasus one lost his paint and got little dents from me moving around on the seat
the CF one stay's nice
