Are tou sure ??

Supermotos like Husaberg have 160 rear tires on 5'' wheels.......http://www.husaberg.se/Specifications.95.0.html

I was told that 5'' is perfect for a 160 tire.

So a 170 on a 5.5'' ??

Tubers ran 5" wheel's and 170's on them.... correct tire to rim size.

XB's run 5.5"wheel's and 180's on them.... correct tire to rim size.

Yeah but what do all those dumb engineers know anyway ? I think someone should come up with a 40" stretched and widened swingarm (with a jack-shaft) capable of running a 360 series tire. With a little extra room incase anyone makes or will be making fatter tires. That would be tuff! Maybe some blinking lights in there too ? Those are cool right ?

i'll get some clearance pics today, there isn't much clearance, it's a special dunlop made for harley davidson 200/55/17. I think it's the only mfg. out there in that size.

I was gonna say... When upped the tire on my XL to a 160, they recommended a 4.25" wheel.
