I need some help here. I can't remove the seat from my xb9s. I've had this bike for four years now and all of the sudden the seat will not come off. The key works the seat lock just fine, it is the front of the seat which does not want to come up that is the problem. Any help in this matter would be great!

Grip both undersides of the seat with your fingers push down about mid-seat with your palms, and pull back. That's the only way mine comes off. (03XBSL) So, you're pushing down and sliding back at the same time.

I had trouble with mine too, they are tricky. As mentioned. Pull up slightly on the back of the seat while pushing down and back in the middle of the seat. There is a hook in the middle you need to slide out before the front of the seat will come off. It says in the manual how to do it too.

A backward slide is required before the front of the seat will lift.
I would describe how I remove my seat as more like pulling it toward the rear than trying to lift it.
I use the strap to grip the seat and lift slightly while pulling strongly toward the rear.
