Trying to clean up the front of my bike. Integrated mirrors are hard to find. I was wondering if 1125r mirrors would fit and have the same viewing lanes. I'm not to worried about how to wire them, just how they fit and look on the bike.

Thanks for the direction guys, I just joined the group and that was my first post. Any tips on how to find topics faster than by reading them one by one? so I don't miss topics that are already being talked about.

Danny - welcome aboard.

Unfortunately, the format of this place isn't as user-friendly as typical online forums. Badweb really is THE board for Buells so we learn to deal with it's weird navigation. Searches end up kind of confusing so you often see multiple questions being raised. Don't feel bad. You're not alone.

I posted the link since I already knew it was rolling (and I saw it when it first popped up here)

The mirror/signal thing IS really attractive. Can't blame you for asking!

Thanks for the heads up on how the forums work. I am going to my dealership tomorrow to compare the 1125r & the xb12r (considering the xb9r is'nt made anymore) to see if the mirrors will swap. I will let everyone know what I find out.

Well looks like the mirrors will actually swap! Problem is the dealership can't order them yet. I guess I'll wait untill they can get them; unless anyone knows where to find them on-line, I've looked briefly and came up empty handed.

Danny - I think the "problem" with parts right now is that the bikes are using EVERY part to meet production goals and something like the turn signal/mirrors are just not going to be seen on the market for a while yet.

I'll go bug our local parts dude here at Glendale... but I'm betting that it's a month before we're gonna see them in the shelves.

Those mirrors SHOULD be stocked as part of the normal "tip-over" replacements - like shifters, brake levers and clutch/front brake levers.

Slaughter,
I agree about them being available for tip-over replacements, and I think your on to something with your production theory. The dealership seemed to think of the same reasons that you layed out, although there is no time frame for the release of parts. Oh well I still have at least three to four months before we can ride up here anyway . I'll keep up on this post, let me know what the dealer says if you get a chance. Thanks.

Danny,

I'll shoot Glendale's parts dude (also a fellow Buell track day rider) an email and see what he knows about when they'll be able to start stocking 1125R hardware.

the mirrors are on the dealer list of parts that cannot be order for stock yet, only way so far is to order them thru hd tech servicess, same as o2 sensors and such, harley/buell has a list of parts that they want to know why your ordering them before they will ship them, usually so they can fix a problem.
