Just wondering what a replacement frame for a 05 9R would cost.

Chris,

I'll get a price check - but if you really DO need a frame - seriously consider ebay or a salvage deal unless you need a new or replacement.

PM me if you want details.

I see them on ebay from like new at 400.00+ to scraped up at 150.00. Ebay is the way to go...and I hate Ebay.

Opening bid - $250. Dented but those dents are NOTHING to worry about. I've raced worse.

This guy is expecting too much for a crashed frame but you could offer him $200 and see if he bites:

I've spoken with this guy before, and a friend of mine purchased a fuel injector from him. He seems honest.

Came across a 9R FS elsewhere supposedly its gas tank is cracked at the weld. For what the guy wants for it I figured it would be a easy way to get a complete roller for a XBblast project and sell off the motor.

That is actually less than I expected. I just hope I never need a new frame because it would mean that something bad happened!

is a frame replacement the only recourse for laying your bike down without frame pucks?

the previous owner did it to my bike, and i have put pucks over the dent / scrape.

other than bondo to make it look nice again, what other (cheaper than new / used frame) can be taken?

Lab Metal

Wicked stuff requires a grinder or file to shape after it hardens. Can be powder coated.
