So some stupid cager nearly killed me Thursday, locking all four of her wheels and stopping right as we got ON the highway. I got a handful of brake and hit a major rolling stoppie (before I blacked out of course) and it seems I didn't hit the car. 'Course, as I was told when I came to in the ambulance, the driver had taken off and never looked back.

So here I have pictures of all the things that are broken/useless to me now. Most I can replace -- granted I've got all of $400 left to get parts before my bank account is completely depleted but I've gotta do something -- but what I REALLY need is an XB subframe. Mine (as the following pictures will show) is cracked in two places and buying a new one is WAY out of my price range!

Help please!!

So seriously, if anyone can help with a subframe, XBs preferably but XBr can be adapted, I'd really appreciate it...

Usually insurance will total the bike if the frame is damaged....
Just a thought.

Dunte, I've got the two subframe rails from my 12s. They were painted with the rest of my bike at the time, black with purple pearl. I also have stock bars if you need them. Let me know what you need. Good luck on the recovery, and fixing the bike. I just went through it all myself after a highside.

BTW the parts were off my bike before the wreck.

true, but the subframe is relatively inexpensive to replace compared to totalling the bike.

subframe doesn't equal frame. sorry....

BUT>>>>>>

i have a stock S seat gathering dust. if you get an S tail section i'll hook ya up.

glad the bike took more of a lick than you did. hope yer back to riding soon.

I've got insurance, yes, but I've only got liability right now. I just started making more money and hadn't yet had the chance to up it to full coverage.

Coturi I'd be seriously grateful for the rails- I'm willing to pay shipping back to you if you're willing to part with them.

Xbullet I'd really appreciate the seat. I've got a trade set up with a different badwebber, my S seat for his Low one, so if I can get his trade off without a hitch, I'd love that. Then I can re-upholster my original seat and save it til someone needs it.

I'd be more than willing to pay shipping for you as well if you'd send it my way.

If either of you could shoot me an email at mrgoodstuff08@hotmail.com I'm able to work out the terms.

Coturi I could use the bars as well. I did some searching and discovered my clubman bar idea would require risers... of which I have none! :-P ah well

So I finally felt well enough to go check the bike out thoroughly today... whilst wet-sanding my swingarm (2000 grit of course) to remove the scratches a bit, I discovered I need a new tail piece as well. (The little alum bit that holds the tail light and [formerly] the cheese grater.)

If anyone has one they don't need, or were planning on replacing; or knows where I can find a whole new piece (sans cheese grater is OK also) without paying too much, please let me know.

racing_xb9er@live.com

Thanks,
~Dunte
