Etennuly,

Panasonic (who'da thunk it) makes a scary quiet bathroom fan. Costs about $200 for the nice one but it can be done. Only problem is it is easy to let them run cause they don't make much noise.

Actually it is a lot of fun to NOT use the bathroom fan and let things fume as they may. It's really fun at my house late Thanksgiving day. It is my polite way of telling visitors to quietly leave so that I can go to bed! Ahhhh life is good!

It's $50 or so for the warranty work.
or
It's $60 or so for a new fan, and you do the work yourself.

I was advised this $50 charge by at least one Badwebber before I took my Buell in for the fan replacement. Not sure where this rumor started, but I wasn't charged a dime. Take it in, however be prepared that your dealer MIGHT not stock the fan--so you are looking about a week for them to get one ordered. I ordered one myself from parts & was reimbursed when the warranty work was done. Otherwise, I was going to have to check it in for diagnosis and they couldn't even look at my bike for 2 weeks. It all worked out--for free.
