Messa,

Have you noticed any heat transferance to you belt when in traffic?

No marks on the belt at all?

Top looking pipe by the way and sound great on youtube. Looking forward to the power stats.

No, the belt runs on the top of that pulley so it never gets close and I have actually checked the belt temp (and pulley) after sitting in traffic, mainly because I was curious, and there was no change from what it used to be, just warm to the touch but EVERYTHING in Phoenix, AZ is warm to the touch!

Thanks for all the compliments guys! I'm SO STOKED about it. I look for longer ways home every day and excuses to go to the store for a can of biscuits!

Re: "Problems might arise due to tuning though when you swap from "Normal" to "Loud". " I am ok with the stock performance of my XB9s so a restriction on the straight/loud side would be ok and in theory keep the exhaust within normal parameters. I was thinking one outlet in front of the stock outlet with a pivot point between the two outlets and a circular cover that would be swiveled between the two. That's my thumbnail sketch.

Thats possible. If you wanted to get Extravagant, I could put in an electric servo on the inside to switch between "Open and Closed" I would LOVE to do a "Nascar Style" dual L/H exit. I think it would look cool...

Mesafirebolt - extravagant gas passing! Is that possible? Is that what the world needs? Good stuff!

I'd like to keep the first one - proof of concept - simple. Two left hand exits with no modifications to the engine necessary.

Possible you say, I'll track this tread to see how your doing on this. It could be a good winter upgrade for me.

I just got my modded muffler installed and am VERY happy with the sound and performance. So happy in fact, that I was riding around for almost an hour in 40 degree weather, freezing my butt off just to listen to it rumble (the muffler that is). It sounds absolutely amazing, the videos do not do it justice. For anyone thinking about having this done, I highly recommend it.

Thanks again, Mesafirebolt!

Thanks Arnhold! I'm glad you like it.
As for the Dyno run, I had a Company Sponsored Charity Ride to the Grand Canyon that I got ummm pressed into! Anyway, I might get some numbers this week end. A local HD/Buell dealer is running one.

I have put over a thousand miles on it since last weekend (Scenic rout to the Grand Canyon and back) some of it was pretty hard and fast. I was 2 up the whole way in a pack of Harleys. No Worries. Its ALWAYS nice to have the Fastest bike in the group!!!!
She did wonderful and turned heads with her "Music". Once again I'm Proud of her! I LOVE to see the look on peoples faces at stop lights when I pull up, they do a double take-expecting to see some heavy iron and they see mu light weight wonder!
People STOP ME and ask what I'm on. I LOVE IT!

Ok, I taped over my open airbox with 500 mile an hour tape and found my front header bolts were over a full turn loose at the head, now ALMOST ALL of the decel popping is GONE, just ever so slightly and only one or two pops, power down low seems even better if thats possible. VERY Happy Bueller here

I used too fine of a resolution, the file is too big. I'll try again with less reso but then I'm afraid the lines will go away. Its worth a try though huh!
check back this after noon, say 4. I get to go take a pre-employment uri...after work today for a second, or does this make it 3rd job...!!

Hope everyone likes it. The numbers aren't as high as American Sportbikes were, different Dyno, different day. I'm SURE my AFR being off the chart didn't help, but obviously, I've come up with a good combination here!

Any idea why your curves don't cross at 5252? The formula for computing hp should force this to happen.

The lines don't cross where they should because different scales were used on the graph for the horsepower & for the torque.

Mesa,
Get that thing tuned with Direct Link or ECM spy. It's way too lean. You should see the torque and HP numbers increase.

Anybody in the greater Phoenix area feel like volunteering some time and effort?
Id like to get it properly tuned. What else do I need besides the direct link? What about the remus?
