Any opinions on this tire? I was going to purchase a new Diablo T but am under the impression that the III may be the better performance option. The III is currently online for 129.00. If I go w/the III should I change out the front as well?

Looking for great grip, ride 3-4K miles a year and only in the rain when the weatherman makes an error.

Thanks for any ideas.

4cammer- i just started running the corsa III's and love them. i ran the regular diablos - two sets - prior. the III's are amazing. i would change the front also. i never change one without the other. for the extra buck-and-a-half, the intangible of not having new rubber on both ends is eliminated and i ride much more confidently. hope this helps.

+1 on the Corsa III's.

And yes, change both. You won't be sorry!

I got a flat 2 weeks ago on a friday through the sidewall so I had to get a tire quick cause I was ridin sunday so I ended up with a dunlap sportmax rear and the stock front is dunlap but not sure what it is. I will however get the corsa III or Mich pilot 2c in the spring. By the way the sportmax seems ok not great but ok

Just tested the 1125R (with Corsa III) on the track at Willow Springs for the Inside Pass - they're standard now on the 1125R.

Great tire!

First time out, I was a bit timid since the tires were cold but after 3 laps, started pushing. A really good tire that handled and "STUCK" well. My gut tells me for a tire to do that well in traction, it's probably NOT going to last 4000 miles.

We were running them at 32 front, 28 rear. Recommended highway pressures are probably higher. If you keep them higher on the highway except when you're doing more "spirited" riding, they may last a bit longer.

Good tires, for sure!

I got between 3-4k out of mine. On my Firebolt I found them slow on transitions compared to the Pilot Powers or regular Diablos I was running before. They felt more stable in mid turn though. While riding the 1125R at Willow they worked great so I don't know how to explain the slowness on my bike. I now have the Diablo Stratas for the street and have not had any problems for the 2k miles I rode so far. I don't know how aggressive of a rider you are but IMO Corsa IIIs are over kill for the street. But some people like having the extra assurance the extra traction is their if you need it.

Thanks for the input fellas, as always this is the place to go for good information.

Decided to go with the OEM Diablo T as my front tire has plenty of mileage yet, and possibly switch later next season.

Found the OEM online (and in stock) for 140.00 or so, no tax and free shipping...hate to buy online as I like to support the dealer, but I am saving 55.00 and don't have to wait until next month for the tire to come in.

I have the Diablo Corsa III's and absolutely love them. I have yet to ride a better tire and got the set for $260 with free shipping from some website. Can't beat that!
