Make sure you check it in multiple places to find the tightest spot. Mine definitely had loose and tight spots. Specifications are for the tightest spots. The printed one- not the stolen crappy PDF'd one on ebay. Best 35.00 or so you may spend. The parts manual is a must as well. The consensus seems to be more like 5/8" to 3/4" cold. I adjusted mine to factory spec, and got the dreaded primary "whine".
