Ok All mod is finished. It went as planned and no hitches. I used elements of flow dynamics to provide some backpressure to let the interactive valve still do its job, kept the same length and look as stock and in fact the finished product resembles a race can very closely. NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF... It SOUNDS INCREDIBLE. I had neighbors come look at it and kids on the street staring as I drove by. The performance is nothing short of fantastic. Low end torque was strong, maybe more than before while midrange stayed about the same and top end was definitely an increase. sure it was all seat of the pants dyno but I can pull throttle wheelies with no problems. The first power run I made I didnt even know I was in a wheelie until I let off to shift (It was dark) Then was able to repeat it at will. I REALLY want to perform the same mod to who ever would like it for about $? + shipping. After I get BadWeB sponsorship of course I'll post pictures once I get it painted (Think Race Can). Local Phoenix-Mesa Buellers are welcome to come see and hear it to spread the news. Turn around time will be SHORT, like 2 days.I dont have ANY Spares so I will need yours to make you one. Way COOL! I really hate doing this stuff sometimes. Believe it or not, I'd much rather just enjoy BadWeB. |

You gotta do what you gotta do! and for those that don't like the fact that you have to get a sponsorship before you can sell you goods or services, I say you gotta take the bad with the good. I just hope his price don't go up too much from the added expense. |

PLEASE remember I had this thing apart 3 times before I was completely satisfied with the sound and performance. only having to weld it together once will make them look much better-not that this is even visible when mounted though. I can also install pretty much any tip or put both tips on the left side like nascar! |

This is cool. But what I would like is one side with the normal sound and the other with a cut off plate that is a straight shot. That way I could use the low noise for commuting and long rides and the high noise side for week end thunder runs. |

I dont believe making ANY kind of outlet would be a problem. I have TONS of ideas. Problems might arise due to tuning though when you swap from "Normal" to "Loud" Virtually any color etc. The finished ones have a small silver emblem on the back center with a R Star R for Rebel Racing. It looks WAY cool...If you were to want it, I can build it. I made a different oil dip stick that allows for more accurate checking, a new timing cover (The Round One) a smaller relocated license plate bracket, Oil breather vent system that works and looks GREAT, and the list continues... |

Do you have a dyno comparison of the stock pipe and your pipe? |

Okay, now we sit and wait for all of the long winded ranters to complain that you are not wearing full gear..... Just wait for it..... I'm serious..... (just giving you a hard time. Gear is a personal choice.) Pipe does sound good though. Great work. Rich |

I always wear gear, except around my neighborhood. I went down last September going hard around a corner when by back tire let loose in some loose road debris. My gear saved my A$$, But seriously, I have not put it on a Dyno. Anyone know where one is in the Phoenix-Mesa AZ area? Id like to know numbers just for bragging rights but for sure the powerband has at LEAST moved. It WILL do a throttle on wheelie where it wouldn't before. It feels strong and pulls hard. I have a few mods to the intake system as well, reset the AFV by disconnecting the battery and riding to work the next morning on the hiway at 75 steady for 25 miles, I WONT look back! The interactive is in place and can still be heard when it opens. I'm not sure what the others do to there pipes but there was a LOT of research done and I tried a few different designs before I decided on this one. |
