Anyone tried both of these? I'm currently running the 2ct's but they are almost done at 4800km. I liked them a lot but they have really gone off the last 1000km,(more to do with the change in profile than in grip i think). Was thinking of trying the regular pilot powers instead. Can anyone tell me what they are liked compared to the 2ct's? NOT ANOTHER TIRE THREAD!!!! |

All I can tell ya is that I have been running the Powers for the last two years and love them.... I have heard that, they don`t last as long as the Powers, So I doubt theres a need for the Ct`s, Just how low are ya going anyways .... Seems the tire companies are saying this and that about their tires, Stick with the Powers ya can`t go wrong... (Message edited by hogs on October 06, 2007) |

I'm a fan of the 2ct's where mileage numbers didn't matter to me on my firebolt. However...the profile of a 2ct is soft in the center (same softness as the powers) and softer on the outsides. So as for commuting, you'll get close to the same numbers. |

I didn't notice any difference at all. I can lean it exactly as far with regular powers as with the 2ct.(ALL the way to the edge of the tire) My next set will be regular powers again. (Message edited by buelltroll on October 06, 2007) |

I doubt you need 2CTs or even Powers for the street. I have Diablo Stradas right now and didn't have any problems on the American Sport Bike BBQ long ride last weekend. I did have Pilot Powers on before the Stradas and they were fine, lasted about 8k until the flat spot became annoying. Next street tires I'll try will probably be the Pilot Road 2, same idea as the 2CT but with hard rubber. |
