Is anyone running the Termigoni Buell XB muffler on a 12 and if so how do you find it? (please be as honest as possible)

I am curious how these might perform since I know of a XB for sale with one fitted. If these mufflers were decent performers then it would make the XB for sale more attractive knowing thats one less item I needed to replace.

I would be more curious about how he has the engine tuned and if there are other mods: intake, or even valves/cams. That kind of stuff would make a race module a requirement and if there has been valve or cam work, even the race module itself might give you a motor that isn't quite right.

If he just has a race intake and Termignoni slip-on and a race module, it will PROBABLY be fine... not saying better than other exhausts but fine.

I'd wait to hear from somebody who might have actually SEEN or RIDDEN one though. My ideas above are just outta my brain before the first cup of coffee today so take them with caution!! : D

Got a performance (race) on it now. Kinda looking for something different. It was starting to rust spot in places, had it ceramic(?) coated at a shop here, came out like dry spray. Looked ok, but then after I was caught in a rain storm it started to rust again. Thinking about sending it to a place in Knoxville to have them ceramic coat it and polish it. A harley dude runs the shop, did it to his pipe and header. I'm just tired of the rust thing. I like things to look nice. Especially my Buell. Don't want someone thinking Buell makes a shoddy product.

I bought the race version of the pipe, which is less than the 759 euro, but with the current exchange rate it's a bit steep. The rate was better when I bought mine and I also didn't have to pay the 19% German tax which also cuts the price down. I was considering the Drummer but after you have your stock exhaust shipped and modified as well as buying the race ECM the cost was about the same as the Termi (which doesn't need the race ECM). I also received an upgraded mounting kit from Hillbilly Motorsports after I had problems free of charge.
