Manimal, Give Andy a call at Appleton HD I know he has the rider pegs (1" lower ones) in stock. And I am pretty sure he has the chrome heel guards as well. | ||

I was wondering if you grind the 1 inch straight piece off the bottom of the pedal. If you will get your 1" of ground clearance back? | ||

I had those pegs on my firebolt and I never had a problem with them scraping at all and as far as I could tell I was using the tires to their full potential. Now the stock pegs on the Uly thats another story. I have managed to scrape those pegs. By no means am I an expert rider or anything close though so you may have a problem with those lower pegs. Personally I wouldnt grind them down I would leave them in place and if you happen to scrape them, that in itself does a great job of grinding them down. | ||

I have a set of S front pegs I just bought and never installed (think they were lightly used) I would sell them for $20. plus shipping. | ||

did that kit include the actual footpegs, shift and brake pedals? Nope Just comes with the foot pegs, you don't need a new shifter/brake all you need to do is adjust the shifter and pedals to make up for the lower pegs. | ||

Tq Freak- swing arm brace? Not familiar with those. Is it just a piece that goes over the existing swingarm? Can can post a pic of them so i can see them?
