I've seen a couple of times that there are chrome heel guards for my 03 Firebolt. I cant seem to find any. So i'm wondering if anyone knows where i can pick up a set. New or used and in good condition. thanks

I actually teased the guys at Glendale about them a couple months ago. You might call and ask for Josh in Parts. If my memory serves me, they have a pair hanging on the wall.

Or, you could save some bucks and polish the aluminum ones that are one the bike now....

I was just saying at the dealership today that my bike has everything BUT chrome.

It's likely to stay that way for the foreseeable future too. Chrome doesn't make it any faster, stop quicker, or turn easier.

chrome seems to be the #1 excuse for NOT riding your motorcycle. Example, "I've got to polish my bike today".

It's more fun riding motorcycles than it is to clean and wax them!

Manimal,

I have a set of polished ones for the passenger. If you would like them, let me know, and we can work something out. I have no idea what they are worth. I have had them sitting in the box in my garage for about 3 years now.

Y'all remember Misato's bike?
I wonder where it/he is now.
While I never really cared for chrome (I've blacked it out everywhere I have it} Misato's bike is still pretty sweet.

Oh yeah, his website is still there.
Lots of pics for you chrome fans.
Or actually I believe it's mostly polished.

Was in Glendale HD/Buell yesterday for their BBQ and demo rides - and, yes they DO have chrome heel guards. Give Josh a call in parts.

Hey jack are the passenger heel guards the same size as the drivers ones? I'll have to go look on my bike but if they are i'll send you a PM.
