well it was a real pain in the azz, but the jardine is on the might cityx. sounds great, looks great too. their directions suck as bad as everyone sez. had some issues with the chin spoiler brackets lining up, but they ended up being ok. for some reason with their bolt the right side front bracket wouldn't line up, but would with the stock one. the major hurdle was the oil lines thru the rear mount. the directions say remove 1, but we couldn't see how that would do any good, all 3 would have to come off. since my oil is less than 1k miles old, i didn't want to drain it. quick trip to walmart for a grinder with cutting wheel, bracket eliminated. then in was a matter of adjusting the oil lines to clear the hanger for the jardine. one tip i would give is before you bolt on the chin spoiler brackets, use a dab of RTV or something to hold the chin spoiler bolts in place. after the brackets are bolted up, it's really hard to get them started. we also put on my led turn signals, and omg are they bright! look nice on the bike too i think. i'll get some pics of this stuff and get them posted.

Many thanks again to Buellshiter for helping me out on this. without his expertise and garage with a bike lift, this would have been ten times harder than it already was.

i also must thank walmart, for having a black and decker grinder in stock to make the stock rear muffler mount disappear in minutes for around 30 bucks.

ah yes i forgot to mention the oil line thing in the other post glad u figured it out i did the same the directions made it way harder then a little common sense.......make sure the header to L tube is well sealed with no leaks this will mess with the way the bike runs really bad. did you do ecm and air filter yet? which pipe did you go with alum, titanium, or cf?

one other thing check the area where your chin spoiler rests next to the oil filter. the new bracket on mine was so tight to the oil filter that it actually wears a hole in the filter from vibration. i had to modify spoiler just a bit to keep it away from the filter.

i used plenty of high temp rtv sealant on the l tube at the header collector and the muffler inlet. doesn't seem to be leaking at all, very few decel pops on the cold ride home last night.

i'll double check the oil filter clearance, don't think it's an issue tho.

oh and i have the aluminum one. seems as long as i pay attention to it it should be fine.
