Is the stock can painted or coated? If it is painted, what do they use. I am getting a Micron Serpent System and I want to black out the muffler (the header will come coated black). Thanks!! | ||

Well, mine is painted now! The stock coating (whatever it was) was completely useless against preventing rust and my muffler was more orange-brown than black. My friend Techmikeny and I spent an entire day sanding, grinding and using naval jelly to de-rust our mufflers before painting them with Rustoleum high temp black paint. |
