Has anyone else noticed that there are 2 distinct configurations of headers on the '08 XBs in the latest Fuell? I am not talking color, but the bend and length of the front header. Pages 24, 26-28 tell the tale. | ||

I remember reading that it was necessary to clear the new timing cover (what used to be the timing cover anyway). Are you saying that there's a difference in the headers between various 08 models or 08 vs pre-08? (Message edited by LukeDuke on August 25, 2007) | ||

The 08 STT has different headers than the 08 Lightning and Uly shown in the latest Fuell. I believe they are all 08s because they all have the updated "non-timing" cover | ||

I'm betting the ones with the extra bends were pre-production headers. | ||

At the factory during homecoming I was told the reason for the different exhaust was state side version and overseas version. |
