After 12,000 miles my low beams went out. Damn! Are they really only good for 1 year. This is unacceptable. LOL I can't be spending $7/yr on repairs.

Wah, wah, wah what cheese do you want with that whine

It's a great time to upgrade to Silver Stars. On my ST the LH bulb always burns out first, don't know why. I went to HIDs and cured that problem. 35,000 miles in the past 16 months and no burned out headlight bulbs (btw, they a re a lot more expensive than 2 or 3 Silver Stars)

Actually, HAD my dealer had the bulb in stock, it wouldn't have cost me anything as apparently Buell warranties them for the same two years/unlimited miles as the rest of the bike!

Unfortunately for some STUPID reason, they didn't have the bulb in stock and I didn't feel like leaving my bike there while they ordered it and waited for it to come in so I ran next door to the AutoZone and bought it from them. At least they installed it for me for free.

I wonder if I bring in the burnt out bulb they will just hand me a replacement or do they need the bike?

On other hand the HIDs may be a better option and just be done with it.

Either way I will be fixed tonight.

I can't believe BMC covers burnt headlight bulbs. They are truly a good company.

My low beam burnt out on me Saturday night, while riding in the dark! lol! All of a sudden Im flying down the road blind. Had to turn on my high beam for the rest of the journey home which upset on coming traffic but what can ya do? The next day I picked up a new bulb from my dealer and I finally installed it last night. Now Im good to go again!

I tried to get a free replacement with no luck. Cost me $27.95. Ouch. I guess I need to find the generic.

The Harley dealership.

There seems to be a dozen different types of H7's not sure which one they are selling. But the pricing seems to vary from $7 - $70

I guess I need to upgrade my Lowbeam to something more useful. I ride with my Hibeams on always. I cant see anything at night with that lowbeam.

$27.95 at the Harley shop for an H7? Wow. I have a Harley so I'm well aware of the patented Harley exhaust note "hundred- dolla hundred-dolla hundred-dolla..." but dang...that's pretty extreme!
