Does anyone have the part #'s for the primary chain cover gasket and the clutch cover gasket? Do i really need to replace them every time? Don't know if they are rubber or whatever.. Thanks

Peragrin,
I have reused mine at least 3 times now.... Just take them off Clean them really good and dry... Put a little bit of gasket maker if ya want( get it any car parts store ) just enough to wet them abit on both sides not much at all really...I have also used nothing and still was good to go but be safe... and reinstall

Piece of cake...

I used mine over and over, I actually lost count. I bought a new set the first time but I just kept them as spares. Like Hogs said just clean them off and reinstall. I dont like to gasket goo unless its leaking. I figure the factory installs them dry so thats what I do.

Side question. whats the part number for the O-ring on the drain bolt for the swing arm? price? is it just a basic O-ring that I can get at the hardware store? I have changed my oil a bunch of times and every time I forget it, and Its looking pretty ugly now

guys, i personally would NEVER recommend to use any kind of gasket maker, silicon, or anything, that shit gets everywhere and and cause big trouble for an engine, ive seen it wayy too much. also i never reuse gaskets especially the new metal core gaskets. for the couple extra bucks you get new gaskets, cheap insurance from leaking in my opinion. also the drain plug oring is 11105. 34819-03 is the inspection cover gasket.

Trust me,

Reuse them primary gaskets NO worries...

When I said gasket marker I am not talking Silicon.. 3M, Loctite are a couple that you can rely on without any Worries... But on these gaskets you will probably be 95 Percent good to go with nothing at all on them...
