Forgive me if this has been asked before (I'm a noob), but I'm interested in finding an aftermarket muffler that sheds some lbs.

I don't want the bike to get any louder and I'd still like the ability to jack the bike from the muffler.

Any recommendations?

There really aren't any aftermarket mufflers that don't get a little louder...

I'd go with the Drummer. It is louder than stock but it's certainly not "loud". It also has one of the best power curves out there (well... THE best IMO but it's a topic of debate : )).

American Sport Bike has the most complete XB muffler shoot out that I know of on their website. Not only does Al have muffler weights listed, he has sound levels, hp, and torque ratings for them all as well.

A can made from Titanium, to OEM dimensions, would suit your requirements.

Drummer CF.

Kevin's having a bit of trouble getting the carbon fiber tubes at the moment so there may be a wait. I've had every type of Drummer on my Buells and the CF has the mellowest sound of them all. If I remember correctly, it weighed in at 6 lbs on my UPS scale.

Oh, man... six pounds? If I had the scratch, I'd commission a CF muffler for the race header on my tuber.

Even the inside tubes are CF? Should have known the CF Drummer would be the real deal and not just a decoration.

Wow guys, thanks for the replies. That CF Drummer is beautiful and meets my requirements. How do I get my hands on one?
