So...I did my first track day of the year on my new Xb12R. All I can say is FANTASTIC!! Basically one gear around the entire track except for the back straight, turned in quickly, held any line I wanted, and looked great doing it (the bike looked great, not me. :-D) I was really impressed with the Diablos on the track, too. They got chewed up pretty good (the track temp was well over 100 degrees), but I didn't have a wiggle anywhere.

Can't wait for the next one!

Oh man, welcome to the sickness. I just finished my first track day a couple weeks ago, and I'm already looking for a hitch and trailer for my car. Doh!

Wolf,

Not signed up yet, but I'm getting a free ticket from the dealership where I bought my bike, so I'll definitely be there!

Hale's in Mansfield. They were $1000 cheaper than Farrow's, with no extra fees on top of it, and 5% cheaper on the interest rate. Farrow's really gouges people!

I wish I would have looked around. Farrows is horrible for support. Tire blew on the ride home after purchasing, they were of no assistance, shelled out 300 for a tow and tire from a local shop. The local shop said my front tire was over inflated by 20PSI he thinks that my rear was also.
Any way I am trying to get the money to get to Buell Inside track day... Hope to see you there.

I hate to hear that about Farrows. I teach Riders Edge for them and I get along with most of the people that work there. I will let them know about both of your experiences with them. I am pushing them to become a BadWeb sponsor.... But they need to get some Buell stuff on the shelves first...... and that is in the works.

Wolf,

I agree that they were very nice, they just weren't anywhere close to being the best deal. Hale's also has a ton of Buell stuff on the shelves as well.
