Does any know, or has anyone done seat conversion on the XB12S to make it a 2 seater? I dont own the bike, but ive been looking at purchasing a few different models... Ideally, the XB12S with the seat (and flip up) of the XB12X. Looks to me like it can be done... anyone ??? hello ??? bueller??? ferris bueller ??? |

everything is possible, with enough time and effort but i haven't found anything of the sort, I'm looking at converting my xb12r into a one seater and it looks like it's going to be a custom job. |

The uly seat assembly will bolt right onto the SS, although there may be contact between the shock and under-seat pan. The STT is a an even better fit for the Uly seat as seen on Steve_mackay's "Uly-bolt" it raises seat height a bit, but the suspension is better than the standard lightning for 2-up riding. The s and firebolt have different frames and therefore different mounting lugs than the uly, Stt, and SS. I hope this helps. These bikes are like grown-up lego sets, if you know which parts are compatible. It is still possible to make things fit from the different frames, but it requires more fabrication work. |

pic on profile, it started life as a select seat. didnt like the way that seat ducted water down my keester, so I had it cut, shaved, repadded for two up riding. Local upolstry shop did it, $120.00 ;) |
