Well it's happening before I expected it to happen. Rarebird (Mike) wanted to move up the delivery date to tomorrow! I guess I'll just have to suffer with getting my XB12r a week early!

We are meeting in Florence, KY at the Chipotle near the Florence Mall. If anyone wants to meet there, we are planning on meeting between 1&2.

More to follow, tomorrow.

I met up with Mike in FLorence, KY (thank you Mike) and we exchanged $'s and title. After a 4+ hour drive, the 'Bolt is home. I had a GREAT time exploring my new ride. SHe has TORQUE! I had forgotten what it was like. Ergo's are a lot different than the ST but the Heli-bars help a lot. I also finally found a good use for my belly, it supports me real well against the airbox ;+}.

All in all I think this was a very wise move for me and Mike sold one heck of a nice bike. He is right, it really is a strong pulling 'Bolt! I got to try th handling out on some of my well known back roads. I REALLY tracks fine and loves to turn!

Today is getting tags and, darn, I have to work. Well, we work so we can enjoy these toys.

Congrats! I rode an '06 ST for several months and while I was impressed with the smoothness and quickness, I was less impressed with the weight and the lower speed handling. (I have a lot of stop/go traffic in my daily commute.) But as most Hondas, they're rock solid!

Enjoy your new Bolt!

Well my 1st 50 miles tells me that I am using different muscles and flexing joints differently. But it sure is FUN!!!

Don't tell anyone but, violating the speed limit in corners by 10-20mph is REAL easy and it does it soooo well.
