Author Message   Bretley Posted on Friday, July 20, 2007 - 09:41 pm:        Next weekend I'm installing a 2003 race kit on a 2007 City Edition Lightning and I'm wondering if anyone has any commentary on the 2003 Race ECM. I read a few remarks about the new mapping on the 2007 model race ECM's and I'm wondering if the 03 kit I got has a lesser ECM then the 07 would need and if the talk about swapping up to the newer ECM would make any difference. Comments??   Starter Posted on Monday, July 23, 2007 - 07:50 am:        You obviously got a 9, so yes there is a difference in ECM. Dunno if that exhaust in going to bolt up either due to the different idler wheel. You need ECM part #82007-05Y for 2005 onwards.
