What are the best levers for the XB series? Looking for something a little more adjustable and hi tech for the 12S. What are list members happiest with?

I have the long Pazzo's and love them. Pricey but worth it to me. The colors match up great too. I'm sure the CRG's are just as nice.

I use the Pazzo Shorties. Pretty much same as CRGs just a little more friendly on the pocket book.

I've had two different sets of the CRGs and I love them. Never tried the Pazzos.

Blackxb9 or Beastie,

How do like the quality on the Pazzo's?

I think the quality is top shelf. In fact I laid my bike over a couple weeks ago...(fell off the sidestand). It broke my left Pazzo exactly where it is designed to break. If I had the stockers on I may have did more damage to my bars and controls. I just ordered another single lever and in 3 days was back in action. I purchased mine at http://www.motoworldonline.com/

I'm sure the CRG's are pretty much the same.

i have run crg's and pazzo's, quality is pretty much identical, i prefer the pazzo's because of the price and more color variations. you can get the pazzo's off ebay for $160 shipped to your door.

The longs are pretty much the same size as the stock lever, they just look better. I got the shorties because I can use a couple of fingers to shift/brake. This is just habit for me from my dirtbike racing days. On my dirtbikes I would cut my levers so that I could use them with only 2 fingers. I'm a creature of habit. I still can not ride any type of bike without wearing gloves because of my dirtbike days, just doesn't feel right.

Oh and if you do get the shorties and have a pre-06 bike........ get the Muller Power Clutch!!!!

I have CRG Longs, but they fit a little looser than stock. Otherwise I love them, they look great as well.

I just ordered the CRG shorties from Andy, yesterday.

I'll let you know how they are once they get installed.

I am looking to buy some shorty black crg's, and was wondering where you can get them for a decent price. Does Appleton HD sell them? I see American Sportbike has them, but it seems like Daves was selling them before for something like 160-170 for a pair...

Thanks for the info!

Got the CRG shorties in raw alum from Andy on Friday, installed on Saturday afternoon.

Love them. Rode around the rest of the day to get the feel for them, get them adjusted where I like them, so on and so forth.

Bottom line. Love 'em. Don't know if Andy will have any more on the shelf, but I think they were just under $200 for both.

Did anybody who installed the Pazzo shorts have to adjust the clutch cable? I got mine today and didn't see anything in the instructions about that.

I have actually heard that there are some Yamaha levers that will work. I think it is the early generation R1 levers (per the previous owner)? I have a blue anodized adjustable brake lever on mine, like these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=160143322957

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=200128192016

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=260146868411

This is all moot if you don't have a blue bike, but I am sure they are probably available in other colors as well. Now if I could only figure out which years fit, I could get a clutch lever too. Anyone know?
