I was planning on a CityX, but after watching CityXslicker's vid, I was wondering what everyone thinks. Obviously his CityX does just fine, and I'm only looking at maybe 10% dirt, but was wondering whether the cityx, tt, or uly is the best choice. Also the dirt will be mostly sugar sand, as I'm in FLA.

I'm no expert, having ridden nothing but the Ss, but from all the stuff I've read, the TT sounds like the best bet for you. Really, I think the TT has kinda' replaced the CityX a more functional "urban adventure" bike. The CityX isn't really any different from a standard S, just with a few Uly accessories.

If you are only riding 10% dirt I would think other aspects of the bikes would be the determining factor. Do you like the engine on 9 or 12 better? For me, I was sold on the bigger engine before the TT came out. I didn't want the extra weight of the Uly, and loved the TT's setup. So for me the TT was an easy choice.

It's been a while since I had a chance to ride back to back but I remember liking the 9. I'll have to try it again next demo day. Of course, I wish we had places like the one on the video to ride...Then again, I also wish we had curves.

I think I could go faster on a Blast in the dirt than on any other Buell.

I have a customer that has a "BlasTT" she is shredding the hell out of the forest roads, and in some of her local roads, she can beat me through the corners. Being lighter it is nice for the dirt, and the bars are set right. It was after riding her bike that I put the Blast bars on my CityX. The whole thing will be your confidence and comfort. Doing it again, I would go TT. I would love to come down and try some of that sweet sugar sand : D Welcome to the Bendy and Dirty side of XB'n!
