A week ago Friday I picked up an enormous nail in my rear tire (not patchable or repairable). As I have the tire/wheel and extended warranty, I called Lancaster HD/Buell for a pick up. They got to me quickly and promised a quick turn around on the fix. They had to order the tire, so I took the opportunity to order a race ECM, Jardine can, and K&N filter. Long story short, I got my bike back yesterday afternoon. They even scheduled a special after hours pick up for me. Five working days for the repair and mods. Reasonable shop rates and a service manager that owns 5+ Buells! I'm trying not to sound like too much of a shill... With all the bad press some dealers get, and deserve, I thought it was worth passing along some good news for a change. Steve in service is the guy you want to talk to.

Mods: Wow what a difference! I have an 07 City X. The new exhaust is actually louder than I would like, but there is a very noticeable power difference. Certainly no one is going to not hear me coming. It will be interesting to see what happens to fuel mileage. The description and power figures in the American Sportbike exhaust test feel accurate. My initial reaction has been that it was well worth the money.
