what hp does a 12 motor have? what about tq? crank and wheel hp please

what does 9 motor have? same thing, want to know wheel and crank hp

im trying to decide if i should save money, buy a used 9r and put a little money into it and make it faster than the 12 r, or just buy the 12r and be done.

yes, i know buells are made to handle, but damn, i want more power

thanks guys and girls

(by the way, im a current tuber owner, but want to get a street bike and want it to be a xbR

seems that the average rear wheel HP goes about 80 for a stock 12. The very specially prepared "Ringers" for the Motorcycle Magazines run 90+ horses, we are not real sure how to make a stock bike run like that.
Obviously you can do anything you want to your tuber via bore, stroke, Monster Carburetion, crazy long cam timing, and whatever ignition system you choose. SADLY the XB chassis will not easily allow such fun.

That 80 hp would be at the wheel right? cause I read 103 at the crank for the 12

If you don't have the bike yet and you are already looking for more power buy the 12.

I had a City-X and for a 9 I was very pleased with the power and torque with the race kit on board. It was faster than my Uly and quicker accelerating over 70 mph. But then my Uly is a bagger with a perpetual load.

The numbers mean really almost nothing, just test ride both and see how they feel to you.

It will take more than a little money.

Look at the exhaust shootout on American Sportbike's website, it should tell you all you need to know.
