Can it be put on an 03 XB9R? What problems would I encounter if any. Someone vandalized my bike and damaged the swing arm and it needs replacing. Is it any better that the stock one I have now?

Somebody vandalized your bike? What did they do that caused damage to the swingarm?!

May those losers get hit by a train!

The took a saw and down the swingarm all the way to the axle. I don't know how they pulled this off. I didn't notice until I was washing the bike. I've got to become a home owner soon.

The '06 Swingarm is supposed to be lighter and stiffer than the '03. I have no idea what problems you may encounter, if any, in trying to install it on an '03.

Aren't the oil lines different in the newer XBs? Will the lines from an '03 still match up? I think that would be the only problem.

The oil lines are different and I was led to believe that the motor casting is a little diff as well. I took a digger with my 04 12r at Road America and I pinched my swingarm and picked up a "lightly scuffed" 06 swingarm and painted it matte black with a matte clear coat only to find out that it might be more work than I expected, if anyone is interested, I'd be willing to sell it for 75.00: )
