I read that some one people lost is fan on ulysses ,
on my bike to and my brother uly too so

both 06 model .. .

this is more than a casual thing .. I see the fan ans seems different ...

the damage is if you are during a long travel maybe with 40 C° degreee

Nicozzzz,

Check the "Big, Bad, and Dirty" forum for earlier discussions on this subject. One guy took one of the fans and did quite a bit of research on it. His findings showed that the seals and lubricant used in the bearings were not adequate for the temperatures encountered, but that perfectly suitable seals and lubricants were commercially available. No doubt Buell has figured this out and (hopefully) the replacement fans and the fans used on the 07 Ulysses won't have the problems.

My '06 Lightening is currently in the shop because the fan doesn't spin properly on long rides and hot days.
