I had this made for me. Some of you like this type other's don't. 4 years ago when I cut my tail section I saved the plate light for some reason and I incorporated it into this to keep it legal. I painted it with grey Buell frame paint. I like it,I think it turned out cool.

I'll have to see how it is at night later.

Some people don't like "ricer" parts on Buells; I don't like "cruiser" parts on Buells and IMO this is what it looks like. Overall, you have a very nice and very custom bike, though. Good work.

Nothing ricer about it and cruiser... not really. Just another location and its not in the way of anything. Thanks for the compliment though.

Cool.
I'd like one that goes all the way back and wraps around, so it looks like a little fender.
That is if I still had an S tail.
Looks good Dyna.
Looks to me you're gonna have to start on Naughty's bike, sure looks plain jane next to your's ;)

I like it, but I like the one I did on mine better, tucked up under the tail.

Glitch,

I thought about doing it that way....behind the wheel but I know Rizoma did it that way and have had failures with them. Also I wanted to incorporate the factory tag light that was once part of the cheese grater. Alot less wire to deal with and this thing is pretty solid for a aluminum piece. Glad you like it though...thanks

My first thought was AIRBRAKE!

Then I began to notice some of the details: slight curvature of the plate to conform with the curve of the rear disc, creative use of the rear brake caliper mounting locations, use of the same paint as the frame, use of the license plate light, overall quality of the look.

Good job!

very cool...I like it a lot...I like that it looks as tho some thought/work went into it instead of just jamming a plate anywhere as an afterthought

Dana...are those stock amber 12 wheels? Considering the rest of the bike (which is awesome btw) do you have any plans for the wheels?

Bdabuell,

Yes they are the stock Amber wheel's. The base color of pearl red was infused with the pearl Amber color to make the wheel's work with the paint. Pictures don't do it justice. I thought about adding something to the wheel's maybe but not change completely. It just wouldn't work in another color.

To everyone else.... Thanks!!!

Thanks for the couple people that PM'd me regarding making them one of these relocator's. A friend of mine made it for me and he is a fabricator as his trade. He isn't a sponsor here for one and two he really isn't interested in doing one or two of these here and there. If the demand for several would arise he maybe interested but at this time he's not.

You could say it also diverts cold air to the rear disc... I guess.

Dana, nicely done. I like how you followed the radius of the disk & used. I saw another one that folded back if hit. It poses an interesting scenario for tool booth cameras.

have you got the LED signals in your tail light lens?

Jerseyguy,

Yeah camera mount off of it would be cool hey. I actually thought about a spring in it for that reason but if it goes I have a whole lot of other damage to cry about.lol The tail light is the American Sportbike led intergrated setup.
