I didn't either, but I'm trying to figure out how to make the seat on my Ss more comfortable.

I've had a number of Corbin saddles over the years and if you put a LOT of miles on your bikes there's nothing like 'em. There's only one problem I have with them: for the price they charge, they ought to seal the seams around the stitching so water doesn't get in.

Corbin argues that they wrap their seat foam in plastic so the foam won't absorb water. That's all well and good, but you'd be surprised how much water can get trapped between the seat cover and that layer of plastic when you're caught in a good soaking rain. It would take over a WEEK after such a rain before I'd not get embarrassing wet spots in my pants from sitting on my Corbin saddle.

But I will admit that the foam density and the overall shape of the saddle is just about perfect. I've only owned two bikes that had a good enough saddle that I didn't replace it with a Corbin, my 1992 Yamaha Venture Royale, and my 1999 BMW K1200LT. I don't think I'll get this saddle for my XB12Ss because I'm perfectly happy with the Buell sport saddle I have on it now.

I also have the sport seat, but I would like it to be a little lower. I thought about shaping it myself, but don't know how to do it.
