Well, I'm lucky enough to be the new owner (in 12 days anyway) of a 2003 XB9S and want to get a service manual ASAP. Any recommendations as to an online vendor or dealer? Best prices?

Thanks in advance!

Use the sponsors of this board.Like Appleton,Wisconsin HD/Buell or Cycle Connection. But,i'd like to add a bit of advice.Get the parts manual. It costs around $25.(The service manual is around $45.).The beauty about the parts manual is the associated assembly drawings that layout the parts in order of assembly. It also includes the part NUMBERS so you can be a smarty pants and bring your jotted down parts list to your dealer and dazzle them when all they need do is pull a parts list.Better than going through the whole "Make/Year/model,thumbing through the books looking/wasting time at the counter.

+1

The parts book is a real life saver when it comes time to put it all back together.

Saved my butt too many times to count.

And I was so confident that I remembered where everything went, too.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know of a good online site to purchase these from (besides Ebay)? I have a balance in paypal, so I'd like to use it there before transferring it.

Also, Cycle Connection said their service manual is $58 and the parts manual in around $48...Where can I get these at the prices you guys mentioned?
