Does the grab strap on the select seat have the indentation molded in like the stock seat, or can you remove it without seeing that it was on there? I don't need it or want to see it. Thanks. |

You can remove it. It is screwed on underneath You won't even know it was there once you remove it |

I could see it on mine so I put the strap back on.

I took mine of as well. I think you just need some heat to give the foam some motivation to expand. Leo |

That space left behind is the perfect place to lock your helmet. Take the seat off, hook D-ring from helmet onto seat post, put seat back on and the strap will go though that space left from the strap - whallaaa. Helmet locked. |

Exactly... It is perfect for the helmet. The strap was only put on the seat to pass government safety standards for passengers. Since this seat is not made for passengers, Take the strap off! While your at it, take off the passenger pegs and support brackets. |

Looks like I will have to order one of these select seats, my butt cant take another 100 plus mile ride on that stocker. Anyone know where to get the best price on one of these in all black? |
