Don't have time to read but the X-Ray looked like the ball sheared off the top of the femur???

YIKES!

Best wishes for a quick and total recovery.

He sheared off a ball? Every man here who reads that is likely now experiencing severe sympathy ache.

That's bad dude.

My recent injury sucked, but your titanium looks much worse.

Be patient, it takes a long time to get better, in small increments.

Here's my leg:

Thanks for all the kind words guys. My leg costs about $165,000.00. I just got off the phone with USAA. My Firebolt costs $4,600.00. So what do I do? A.) Quit riding B.)Go low and slow with a Harley or C.)Piss off the family and keep riding the death trap?

A.) Quit riding. . . at least on public roads for a while. Perhaps add an MSF course during the recovery period and hone your road skills.

Get well quick . . . looks painful!

I'm not a member of MySpace so I can't see the pics. That site sucks. I can't read your story either. You should have posted that stuff here instead of linking to MySpace.

So was this accident purely your fault then for speeding in traffic?

hope you get well soon!

Ouch looks like one of my X-Rays.
My bill was $210,000. Broken bones aren't cheap. I'm on the death machine still. And i'm still loving it.

You need to make up your own mind on whether you get back on a bike or NOT.

Heal well and keep intouch with your progress.

$165,000...$210,000 - both are weak in comparison to my $1,000,000+ bill! ;) Wasn't the result of a motorcycle accident or any accident for that matter.

Mine was but that was just out of pocket expense because the woman that hit me only had a $100,000 limit on her insurance and I was lacking Medical insurance at that time. It wasn't no million dollars but It was a bike crash that was not my fault but still had to pay.

I had an 04 Sportster Custom that I traded for my 04 Buell Lightening Long. Needless to say, they handle a little differently and the brakes are WAY different. I was out one evening with 04buell and I gave it too much front brake and I accidently did a stoppie except I forgot to stop and I did a front flip! Thank goodness I had a helmet and leathers on or I would have been hurt pretty bad. There is a hole in the center front of my helmet where it would have been my head and I saved myself a lot of road rash with the leathers.
After that incident I had lost my courage and I was kind of leary to ride by myself for a while so I rode behind 04buell on his ULY quite a bit. I wanted to ride myself again so we signed up for the Experienced Riders Course that is an all day session and it helped me tremendously. I learned so much in that session that I would recommend it to everyone. It teaches you the little things that you probably learned at one time, but have forgotten.
Mrs. 04buell.

For those who didn't read my blog, I wasn't speeding in traffic. A jaywalker ran out in front of the car ahead of me. I had to react to both of them, and my front wheel locked onto a manhole cover while I was in a almost controlled skid. I ended up flipping over the bars and tumbling with the bike twice. Shit happens I suppose.

Ride or Die!
