I was on the buell website looking at the cityx section. Under "engine" they have the following text. Funny stuff.

Engine
The high-revving Thunderstorm 984 cc, 45-degree V-Twin delivers raw, torquey power over a wide rev range. With a power delivery that’s smoother than the neighborhood pimp, its 92 hp and 68 ft. lbs. of torque give it the best torque-to-weight ratio in its class. Blip the throttle, dart between traffic and give those bike messengers something to worry about.

That's funny. Almost as funny as my Klipsch home subwoofer that has a volume that goes to eleven. For when you need that extra little kick.

Hey I ride in those neighborhoods... The bike messengers are afraid of my buell. Maybe because I don't yield???

Yeah. "smooth". That's why the whole bike has to be Locktited together, and they STILL vibrate themselves apart!

*(hijack alert)

How many here have seen Spinal Tap LIVE?

(Slaughter raises his hand, looks around at the others in the audience)

You ARE right - somebody DOES have a definite sense of humor.

Nigel Tufnel: [pointing to a customized Marshall amplifier head unit] This is a top, to, uh, you know, what we use on stage, but it's very, very special, because, if you can see...

Marty DiBergi: Yeah...

Nigel Tufnel: [pointing to the control dials] ...the numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board: eleven, eleven, eleven, eleven...

Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?

Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.

Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is that any louder?

Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most... most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up... you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?

Marty DiBergi: I don't know...

Nigel Tufnel: ...nowhere! Exactly! What we do is if we need that extra... push over the cliff, you know what we do?

Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.

Nigel Tufnel: ...Eleven. Exactly. One louder.

Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder, and make ten be the top... number, and make that a little louder?

Nigel Tufnel: [pause, blank look and snapping chewing gum] These go to eleven.

Apparently a downed vehicle will get parts quicker... quicker than the pony express? 3-5 days instead of the 10-15 days. Still wrangling as to whether it will be covered under warranty. : |

Why would a downed vehicle get parts faster?

Please explain that one from a dealer standpoint?
