Just got my select seat that i ordered and wow does it fit like crap. Theres a good inch and a half gap from the seat to the tail section in back and in the front its not even close to fitting up against the air box cover. Either i got a friday seat pan or my whole bike is bent. Ended up putting the corbin from my 03 onto my 06. Anyone looking for a select seat that doesnt really fit on any buell

Had the same problem with the select seat on my 06 City X . It is the seat, I returned it and got my money back. I was not impressed at all . Others on this site also had problems

tore mine apart and had it padded for passenger riding. That v shape ducts the water right down your keester. Just convinced that the tester of that seat did not ride in the rain

Man I ordered two different ones and both were way off in the front up to the airbox and the huge gap at the back. Ended up getting a CityX seat and am happy, although I would have liked to get a Select seat. I think they have a bad run of seat pans personally.

I have a select seat for my 07 CityX and the fit is pretty good. I have read others complain about the fit though. I tend to agree with Nasty73z, probably a bad run of seat pans.

Mine was off when I first put it on. You can adjust your frame rails and the crap under the seat and it fit correctly after. I don't know if this would help everyone but it sure worked for me.
