Still getting used to it.... since it is my first MC, but i think its a great one.. and with the support i've seen here, even better. Still looking up stuff like a race kit ect. But as for now , im absolutly loving the bike.. Hopefully i'll get a pic up soon... but just wanted to say thank you , to all of you, the info on here is very helpfull.. }} |

I'll give you $600 for it! Here is a recent thread on this board that has a whole lot of good information for the owner of a new 2003 Nine. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/280326.html?1180364393 Best of luck with your new ride. |

$500. Either it's in worse shape than we imagine, it is stolen, the seller has mental issues, or something else is up. It just sounds fishy when it's easily worth a lot more. |

For that price, the engine could fall out of it tomorrow and it'd STILL be a good deal! The frame alone is worth that, right? ~SM |

Well you robbed your girlfriend's friend blind. No pun intended. Does he realize he could have gotten thousands more? I hope his condition improves! |

Yea i think he knows what he lost... and what he could have gotten,, but i also think it was more of a helping a friend thing.. as far as his eyesight... i dont think theres going to be any improvement... genetic problem i think.. i know he had also got rid of a 1100 jap cruiser for cheap as well before the buell.I also think it was a cant ride/ dont want any memories thing as well }} |

Man, I feel for him. I tend to REALLY like my eyesight (though I'm freakishly blind without my contacts)! I don't think I could handle it... I'd want some organ donor peeps or somethin'. ~SM |

Yes, I agree that going blind is much worse than death. I'm not sure what you mean by "organ donor peeps". You can't transplant eyes...yet. |

Heres a question ive been wondering about.. since this bike has been in storage for 4 or so years... and very little miles put on it. any recalls? for a 03 xb9s? Ive read that there was something about the bearings, but only seen it in one site. any info on this or other recalls would help alot... thanks guys.. you all are the greatest}} |
