I'm new with the buell forum and this is my first twin. My question is can i use the jardine exhaust on a stock xb9s and not have to do mods, and if not what do i have to do to run one?
Thanks!

I know you're new, but do a search for this. There are tons of these posts on the site already. I'm sure there is one just like your situation.

If this is any help, I have an XB12S with a Jardine. I run the Buell Race air filter and ECU. I did run the stock ECU for a while, but the bike seems to run a bit smoother now with the Race ECU. My thoughts are this: If you want to gain performance out of a free flowing exhaust, you should modify the fuel delivery and air intake as well. Free up the air coming into the engine as well as going out. Just my $.02

I have the same bike as u. 03 xb9s and mods i have done that have shown me a smile of improvement would be. Jardine, race ecm, open airbox kit with k&N and removal of snorkle. DirtBike bars are a must, the pro taper SE are a nice set up, u need 7/8" bars remember and they will fit perfectly. Remove those mirrors and it will improve greatly. Cut the rear pasta strainer, will take u about 3 hrs with a grinder and dremel with some paint afterwords. My bike sounds great and has a load of power. If u really want to get the best running however do the new mapping with the directlink. All from americansportbike.com can help you out with all this stuff. If you have any question PM me and let me know, I have many other misc mods that i have done cheap as well that have made my bike standout and have pple constantly attracted.
