I wrench mine on.   Etennuly Posted on Sunday, May 13, 2007 - 11:23 am:        What Ft_b said......you can't get your hand around it far enough to grip it as well as needed to tighten it. I put my band wrench on it and tighten 3/4 turn from when the gasket touches. Make sure to clean the gasket surface well and put a film of oil on the rubber gasket before installing.   Cyclonecharlie Posted on Sunday, May 13, 2007 - 12:54 pm:        I like the KN filter w/safety wire hole.
