Ok..what is the secret or secret tool to get to that last bolt that holds the belt cover on the rear swingarm brace. Bolt is right behind the rear master cylinder and there is no room to get a allen wrench back there

Thx!

OK, just guessing you've got an '03 XB like mine...

Simplest way to get that fastener out is to remove (relocate, really) the right side peg mount bracket thing. 3 bolts will get you there (mine were found to be only FINGER TIGHT!), and you can swing the entire thing - bracket, peg, rear brake master - up towards tail of bike to get to the belt cover.

There are also a couple of small machine screws in the bottom edge of the belt cover, IIRC, that got me mad.

anyone can remove & reinstall belt guards quicker and with less hassle than the long walk home as result of rock induced belt breakage !!!

Thanks Guys..I will try that tonight. I am actually moving to a Chain Conversion from Saintly Cycles. So really I could just cut the belt and cover..but for my knowledge and ability to sell bits..I am going to removing nicely ;)

Thx!
