So, I started noticing that my race exhaust is starting to get rusted. I have seen pictures around badweb with the same problem..anyone have an idea of how to clean it off? It's not rusting through, just looks like its starting on the surface.

Easy way leave it on sand it tape off very well.. Spray it...

Take it off sand it and paint it..

Hell I didn't even use exhaust paint.. I used the left over grill paint I had..

I painted mine with a BBQ grill paint too. But I painted it before it rusted.
I plan on just applying more coats of paint when this one starts rusting/coming off.

I left the tips silver but sprayed everything else flat black with that high temp stuff. Pretty stealthy if you ask me.

The exterior of my race can still looks good, but I have noticed rust inside the outlets and behind the faring brackets. I just squirt a little WD-40 on it every once in a while and it seems to be keeping the rust at bay for now. If it starts looking bad, I'll probably just paint it with some hi-temp paint like everybody else. You could always have it JetHot coated too.
