I realize the Buell is not a flawless bike. I have owned many different brands and they all have their issues. I just don't see the point to come here with nothing to add but negative feedback. The guy is looking for an answer to a problem he is having with his bike and all you can do is be a pain in the ass. If you go to the Kawai boards you will find very similar questions and complaints as you do here as you will on any brands message board.
You my friend is the one who should grow-up and find something constructive to add.

Wow, for a guy claiming to be nearly 50 years old...Lions sure does seem to act like an immature kid. I don't think anyone so far was doubting that there was a problem, just looking for how to fix it. Was there any helpful 'mechanical' advice in there?

Lions,
If you were so glad to see your Buell go, why on earth would you buy it back at ANY price? Yea, THAT'S a smart move.

Hope you enjoy all those headaches and whatnot...you can always blame some "shabby local mechanic" for your woes.

Myself... I bought all 6 wrenches and a FSM. Eliminates the need for a "local mechanic" shabby or otherwise and have had NO mechanical probs. yet at 6200mi.

I'm goin' ridin'...

No, no helpful advice. He obviously has nothing mechanical to add. Likely, he does not posses the knowledge to add anything. Thats o.k. though. The Kawai. mechanics at the shop will serve him well. It is ashame when a mechanical thread dissolves into something like this. I'll add nothing further.

Glad that your bike got fixed Black.

You did the smart thing by letting yourself cool down and calling back to speak with the manager. Kudos.

Blackxb9, can't believe someone at Battlefield treated you like that. I haven't dealt with service (and hopefully never will since I do most of my own stuff), but the owner, the parts guys and my sales guy are awesome. The parts guy saw me in there the other day and ran me down with a replacement page for some additional XB12STT specs for the FSM I had bought a month earlier. And since I had to wait a couple extra months for my VRod earlier (7 instead of 4, but it was delivered in early Apr last year so I didn't care), the owner gave me my TT at a price that couldn't be beat. I was OUT THE DOOR for under MSRP....

....I hope they fired that lady cause they are a great group of folks up there.

Lions it sounds like you might get along pretty well with that service department gal. Hell, I'd go so far as to say you're made for each other.
