Does anyone know the bolt sizes (and quantities for that matter) for crossroads zero degree bars? Through an unknown and unfortunate series of events, I have the top plate and bars but no bolts or instructions.

Matt

Is that for all 8 bolts?

Do you still have the original bolts from the handle bar clamp? I'm sure the bars are 1/4-20. You have to get them long enough to get a nut on the bottom side of the mounting plate so the bolt, which are allen heads, BTW which come with the kit usually, don't back themselves out. The ones that come with the kit for mounting the plate are pan heads with allens as well. Did you try getting in touch with Al at American Sport Bike? He will at the least know what you need and probably can email an instruction sheet.
I looked for mine, but I sold the bike 1&1/2 years ago and probably pitched them.

Thanks Rocco...everything stock is still on the bike. I've been in contact with Al off and on all day today. First he tried getting me a set of bolts but they don't have any extras so now I hope he can give me the sizes of what I need. So what I need to mount the plate is longer than stock bolts and get nuts for them but what about the bolts that mount the bars to the plate?

the bars to the plate are where you need the longer bolts to get a nut on the back side.

The plate to the bike is just bolts, no nuts. Don't forget the blue lock tight.

the stock mounting bolts MAY be too short for the new plate. I'd check that. Also, get GOOD, quality bolts and nuts. Not some Menards specials!

I see what you're talking about now. I'm hopefully going to talk to Al tomorrow some more and hopefully then I'll be able to put them on this weekend. Thanks for all the insight.
