Sadly I inform the members of this community that my 2005 Black/Gold/Amber XB12R was stolen in the early hours of Monday 4/23/07. Unfortunately I don't have any recent pics that include the decals, and the Storrs Steering damper which was just installed less than 3 weeks ago. If anyone happens to hear about it, please contact me via fraustyone-AT-Hotmail.com . Any information is greatly appreciated and will be on a no questions asked basis. Thanks. Ryan Unfortunately these pics are over 2 years old. The headers were wrapped, but the wrap recently deteriorated, so theres about 6 inches missing from the area where the primaries are running side by side. Also there are flaming skulls over each "Buell" on the airbox. I had also added some michelin stickers under the icon ones on both sides of the chin fairing. Thanks for any information you guys can scrounge up. http://bellsouthpwp.net/1/b/1badandy/pictures/bike /KDC_2078.jpg http://bellsouthpwp.net/1/b/1badandy/pictures/bike /Buell%20Rampage_0237.JPG if anyone can help me to "source" these pics so you guys don't have to click the link.. would be great. I don't want to resize them ;P |

Where (City/State) are you from? So people know where to start the search. The yellow rings on the headlights are a good identifier too. |

I'ed keep an eye on eBay for sure. People who steal are dumb. Might post parts for sale on there. |

Thanks for all who've read this, the bike was recovered by JSO approximately 8:30 pm.. she's busted up, ignition punched, gas cap punched (lock mech probably somewhere in the frame) looks like they may have put sand in the oil tank, bike rolls in all gears, but still cycles through sequence normally. Minor things broken pegs/signals/lever.. It looks like whoever stole it, probably got their ass thrown off a few times.. then they just killed it and left it to be found Will hear from the claims rep tomorrow, and probably have to take it somewhere for inspection. Who knows, but I got her back, and will have her going soon! From now on, she's staying indoors. Will keep you informed. |

Be happy you got her back at least, not many are that lucky. Hopefully your insurance will take care of her and get her back to her prime in no time. If possible please post some pics of the bike; I kind of have a morbid curiosity. |

Congratulations on the recovery. I've had a car stolen and never recovered and several broken into where they damaged the doors doing more damage than the stereo they stole was worth. Sometimes it makes me even wonder why I bother locking stuff up, people will just break $1,000 worth of glass and doors to get to a $200 stereo. I'm about ready to sell everything I have thats nice and buy a bunch of old beater stuff...Hope it all works out in your favor... |

the punks probably stole it to stunt with. That is getting more common unfortunately. They steal it stunt and crash it a few times and then ditch it. That way they learn to stunt on a bike that they have no investment in and their bike stays nice. They deserve to be drawn and quartered by the people that owned the vehicles they stole. slowly very slowly. |
