I met the West CT crew when I picked up my bike this past weekend.
Any one in the NYC, tri-state area on here?

Naturally! Look in "Storm Fronts" for Buell owners by region. I'm a Long Islander myself. Bought my Buell from Nassau County Harley-Davidson but I also patronize Buell of Danbury and (more recently) NewRoc Harley/Buell in New Rochelle.

I used to bitch about Bellmore all the time, but they seem to be making a real effort in improving relationships with Buell owners lately. Still not in the same league as Danbury or NewRoc, but they're trying!

I was riding by Bellmore Sunday and saw they had even put up a "lighted'" Buell sign up on the facade. Good for them!
It would be nice not to have to go to New Jersey every time for a good "Buell" experience. I shall have to stop by and see how things have changed since my last visit.

You can tell Court is originally from out of town. We all know the CORRECT pronunciation is "Noo Yawk."

Of course, what do I know? I live on Lawn Guyland.

Hey, I resemble that remark! I worked at that BK for two years in the late seventies. Wetson's was gone by then. It's a McDonald's now, but it was just about every other franchise in it's long, storied past hasn't it?

You guys get the "Adult Shop" too. I've always wondered where I could get an adult... now I know!

The Celtic Motorcycle Club (in the Bronx) is hosting a poker run tomorrow. Although not a Buell club, they all ride sport bikes and they always find the twistiest, untrafficked roads in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties. Sign up begins at 9:00 at the Nathan's in Yonkers and ends at their clubhouse. They also serve the best food at the end of their runs! If you like riding the twisties, come join us (I'm not a member of their club, but I LOVE the rides they put together). See http://www.celticmcc.com/pokerrun2007.html for details.

Well, I don't know if anyone from this board took my advice and did the Celtic Poker run, but if you didn't you missed 140 miles of beautiful, twisty roads through Rockland and Westchester County followed by their usual feast (Shepherd's Pie!!!) at their clubhouse at the end (with the AMA Races on their flat screen TV). Awesome!!

Sorry not this trip sounds like a right good time though, I will get to a couple outings in the city this year, I just ripped up hunterton and warren counties today found some great roads out there with about 20 little 1 lane bridges you can get air on and serious twisties but the roads out there are still a little crapped up from the rain and farm eqiuptment, Later guys I down for the night.

Hunterdon's full of those little one lane bridges with huge launch humps and drop offs. There are several close to where I live. Great fun to take 'em like you're on a dirt bike.

Try roads east of 31 and north of 22. Tewksbury Twp. has some slow mountain twisties that will make your arms burn. West of 31 is a bit more open farmland with some longer straights between the twisties.

I live on the south side of Round Valley Reservoir - 206 Stanton Mountain Road.
