Does anyon else notice a slight and i mean very slight valve traing noise at cruising speeds about 2500 to 2800 rpms more than anywhere else. It doesnt seem like to big of a deal to me i just figured maybe a little thicker weight oil. Just seeing if anyone else noticed it. I do not want to tear into into if i dont need to. the motor is a 1203 in a 04 xb12r thanks | ||

Do you hear it mostly when you hold the bike "at speed" (not accelerating or decelerating? | ||

yes just cruising at a steady speed. | ||

I'd say it's lifter/valve noise. I have it occasionally. It goes away if I decelerate and engine brake or if I accelerate. I think it's normal. It sounds like my old VW did. | ||
