Dont want to go on a dealer rant but how long is reasonable to wait for parts to be powdercoated? Im having my wheels, primary and cam covers, pegs, heel gaurds, the areas under the seat and the pasta strainer along with the area behind the headlights done in black. I know its a fair amount but they have had the bike for 6 weeks and so far getting an answer as to how long it will be is like pulling teeth.
Obviously i dont work at a dealership so i dont know how things work behind the scenes and i dont want to walk in there running my mouth about how long its taking. Im just curious what some of you think?

Well, since the dealer isn't doing the work, it's according to how busy the coater is, and where you're at in line.

If they can't give you a deadline, I'd politely ask for the parts back. You'll soon find out if they change their tune. Also if they shoot you a date of completion, hold them to it. Call them 2 days before the due date and then a few hours before you leave to get them. If they still f_ck it up go for the jugular....money.

The powdercoating is being done at the dealer, they have there own set up for that thats why i feel its taking way too long. Since there a sponsor of this board i wont name them. Ill go in this week and try to pin them down on a time, thanks for the responses.
