Anybody know if there's an aftermarket fuel gauge available for the XB's?

I hate not having one.

You can extrapolate the fuel consumed from the trip odometer pretty easily, if you remember to reset one of them at fuel fill-ups.

"extrapolate"

I tried to extrapolate the bra off my prom date. I got groin full of fist.

steal the gizmo off any wrecked ATV. For some reason a $2500 ATV has a gas gauge and a run time meter... They had better put one on that new dirt bike. Because miles ridden off road looses any direct relation to miles driven on road. While riding in dirt, my fuel light has come on at 87! OK I might be a lil heavy handed when the mud is thick : D
